Audism Free America (AFA) introduces its petition to have the Food and Drug Administration set up a independent and impartial investigation into the physical, psychological, social and cultural impact of cochlear implants on Deaf infants, children and youth.
AFA is challenging the system of implanting babies and children without consent and does not oppose individuals who have CI or their families.
