| There are different types of dementia. Dementia means any loss of memory or brain function. Alzheimer's is one kind of dementia, and right now, can't be cured. Doctors are not sure what causes it. An autopsy will show plaques and other things in the brain that are part of Alzheimer's. In the future, maybe we will know more about what causes it. - added 12/23/2011 - by Mary |
| Another thing to check the pots and pans to see if food burned. They forgot they are cooking so they burnt food. Also if one knit/crochet or do quilting, her neat jobs became sloppy and she thinks it looks fine. - added 12/22/2011 - by Buffalo |
| that worse one alzheimer. my grandma's 2nd hubby. he have wrose alzheimer. years ago. when i met him frist time he do farm care (mailk) with his family.. 2nd vist two year laters. he hit alzheimers. he just sit and cant talk and can't do anything at all.. sometime he laught at no reason.. but NICE guy BEFORE AND AFTER! my grandma been hard work to care of him!.... peace his rest! - added 12/22/2011 - by ducky70 |
