OIC Movies for Educators
Everyday ASL. Deaf Culture, Stories & Receptive Practice.
Flexible Access for Every Learning Environment.
OIC Movies gives students something traditional ASL instructional materials can't always provide: extensive exposure to everyday ASL from a diverse community of Deaf signers.
With more than 2,000 captioned videos featuring Deaf individuals sharing information on a wide-range of topics and their experiences, OIC Movies helps students move beyond learning signs and vocabulary to developing real-world receptive skills and cultural understanding.
OIC Movies can supplement your existing curriculum across ASL, Interpreter Education, Deaf Studies and related programs.

Basic or Premium Institutional Access

Basic Access provides students with access to OIC videos without captions—ideal for receptive ASL practice and comprehension assignments.
Premium Access adds caption functionality, giving programs greater flexibility in how OIC content is incorporated into instruction.
Instructor accounts include Premium access so faculty can review captioned content while preparing lessons and assignments.
Campus IP Access
Colleges, universities, schools and libraries can provide seamless access through approved institutional IP addresses.
Students and other authorized users can access OIC from the institution's network without creating individual OIC Movies accounts.
IP access is available for institutions of different sizes, from individual programs to large campuses and multi-campus systems.
Interpreter Education Programs
OIC is particularly well suited for Interpreter Training and Interpreter Education Programs.
